With the explosion of The documentry film and television in today's society,
education can be found flourishing through the responsible utilisation of the media.
Our objective is targeted at providing L.E.A approved productions for history GCSE
which may be especially beneficial to children with learning disorders
so in time those in need of televisual aids may have a fighting chance in education.
In today's British culture, persuit or our heritage' and united social identity is, to some,
considered secondary.
Our agenda is to encourage personal education of our children

    • Linda Thank you 'Diky' for your email! It is nice to meet you. 'Cesime' (I think) My Czech is also rusty, and I am also learning to speak it more. I will pass on your message with thanks! your welcome to drop in anytime. Jamie

    • My Dad was Josef Vejlupek, also in Squadron 312 at one point. I'm writing a biographical novel about his life, which will also contain his post-war life.

I'm trying to relearn my Czech and my grandson Matt, still here in Cambodia with me, also tried to learn the language whilst he was in Prague for a year.

Jamie, I spoke to your father (or maybe your uncle - near Southampton) by telephone in autumn 2007. Please give him my regards.

      Linda

    • I got your page off RAFHA website, it seems the demolition is still going on.. I asked if I could buy the control tower to save it but the council refused but somehow a major developer is being considered instead? do you have any advice on this as I'm getting nowhere trying to keep the developers out of our back yard? Any ideas why I cant buy it and developers can? ..Nice website.. Many thanks Mick Sweet

    • Tangmere must be left as it is.If the gallant RAF boys had not done there work properly, where would we be? This site must be preserved for future generations without fail

    • I was shocked and angery to read that another part of British aviation history is under threat and that there are plans to demolish these buildings at RAF Tangmere.

    • It's so Nice to see a quality overview of one of our nation's forgotten heros. I enjoy reading about these chaps adventures and as the living history of these events is coming to a close, I personally feel it very important to archive these stories. Please send my best wishes To Squadron Leader Liskutin, I'm sure I can say this for most of us that in these days of Sinicism and mediocrity reading stories like this are both educating and personally rewarding. my Father was also a pilot, and if I knew how to, I would love to have got his stories up on the internet. could you maybe offer me some advice on how? DM Dorset.

    • I would like to add my email address to the previous message.......... simongb@verizon.net....... thank you and I hope to hear from someone soon....

    • In 1973 , I had the great honour to be take flying lessons with Squadron Leader Tony Liskutin .I obtained my PPL 6 months before I had a driving licence. I vividly remember the deliberate spin Tony put my Cessna 150 Aerobat into durinf my final flying test!! I since served in the RAF and now live in Joshua Tree , California. I would be interested to hear from any members of the Liskutin family . Thank you ,

      Simon G Bentley

    • Postscript: Oh yes just for the record I personally will not watch "The Few" starring Tom Cruise as I had heard that It was going to portray the Americans as single handedly won the Battle of Britain. This makes me very angry and so sad for all those brave young men and women who gave their lives so we could live ours in peace. Its an outrage and makes a mockery of them. How dare Michael Mann do this to their memory its despicable!Typical americans always getting it wrong. What sort of message does that portray (wrongly) to our younger generation? I have a 13 year old daughter and Ive made sure The Few are NEVER forgotten and always will be remebered. Im proud to educate my daughter on this topic and other parents should see it asd their duty to do so always "we will remeber them!!"

    • I am so angry that they wish to demolish the original and very historic buildings at Tangmere! My relation was killed in the Battle of Britain and was stationed there 602 squadron. Im horrified that the airfield is going to be demolished and think the "Defence of Britain Project" should help to save it? I will write to the council for you (snail mail im afraid good old 1940's style) if it might help. Please dont stop fighting for it as its such an important stategic site. Our own council wanted to demolish a very important cricket pavillion that W.G. Grace played at its a travesty!! and utter disgrace this govt are muppets that cowtow to Europe and the EU and thats the upshot im afraid. The Few (and the many of that wonderful generation) would be discusted also im sure! Ive not visited the museum at Tangmere but plan to do so in 2007 and I hope its not too late to visit that hallowed airfield where my pilot served and gave his all. Can the museum not help by lobbying? or are they doing this already? kind regards A. Hill (nee Sprague)
